Master of science in computer modelling (Applied Physics)

We offer a full-time MSc programme in Computer Modelling (postgraduate level, major in Applied Physics) during 3 semesters with 90 ECTS credit points including substantial element of project work. 

The programme taught in English starts in October (Autumn/Fall/Winter Semester) each academic year.

Applied Physics offers knowledge, skills and abilities for science, engineering and new career opportunities.
Upon completing MSc in Applied Physics (Computer Modelling), the graduate is prepared for PhD studies or may choose to embark on professional career in science, education, industry or finance. The graduate is ready to be employed in research laboratories, become a software engineer, computer network administrator, web page or computer graphic designer, as well as data analyst. Applied Physics background is desired by banks and other financial institutions (quanta – quantitative finance, auditing, trading finance).
Candidates for our programme should hold a BSc degree in Physics, Applied Physics or another degree in a related field, i.e. Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
